At Eventbrite, we value the innovation that 3rd party developers bring to our business. From API documentation to monetization opportunities, we've got you covered. Start by requesting an API key, and you're ready to go.

  1. Sign Up – The first step is easy! Sign up for an API Key to gain access to Eventbrite API services.
  2. Learn – Try out the examples in our Getting-Started guide and read through our API Documentation to learn more about what features are currently available.
  3. Build – Working with the Eventbrite API is even easier when you use proven open source client code. Our developer community has an API client available for each of the most popular web scripting languages. If you need help, be sure to ask questions in the forums, or contact us.
  4. Share – Participate in the conversation on our Developer Forums, or apply for increased visibility in our App Showcase, or Open Source Projects list. You can also take advantage of revenue sharing opportunities when you drive ticket sales for Eventbrite.

Quick website integration with Widgets

The fastest way to share your next event on your existing website, is to add an Eventbrite Widget.  You can learn more about the types of available Eventbrite Widgets in our Help Center.

Interested in reaching an even wider audience?  When you set your event privacy to ‘Public’ we can help drive additional traffic to your event page by including it in our in our public event listings and making it available to 3rd party developers via event_search.

CALLING ALL DEVELOPERS!

At Eventbrite, we are expanding our platform and available feature set by engaging with partners in the developer community. Part of this strategy includes a commitment to showcase your product to our developers and event organizers. You can check out a few of the many third party integrations in our App Showcase and our Open Source projects list.

If you have developed a third party integration tool that you would like us to feature, please submit your plugin or app in our App Showcase.

You can also make announcements or discuss your project status in our forums, or contact us to let us know what you are working on.

Branding guidelines and logos

October 21st, 2010

A lot of developers and third parties ask us about how much they can use our brand in their product, so we put together some guidelines and logos that should help bring clarity:

  1. In no way should your site or service be confused for Eventbrite’s site or service.
  2. The name of your application can use the word Eventbrite only if it is clear that the application or service is not provided by Eventbrite. Along those lines, if you do use the name Eventbrite, you will need to put a disclaimer in a clear place that indicates you are a separate entity from and third party to Eventbrite.
  3. The Eventbrite logo may not be used in your app or service without our permission.
